The project this week is the Dot Dot Dash Crossbody Pattern from Sew Sweetness.  This is one of Sara Lawson’s stand alone patterns.  You could easily use this as a purse or a tablet bag.

MATERIALS NEEDED: Fabric for exterior and lining, interfacing, metal sliders and zippers.

NOTIONS NEEDED: Wonder clips or pins, iron, sewing machine, rotary cutter, scissors, fabric marker, needles and walking foot.

The first step I always take when making something new is to cut out all the pieces and label them.  This step saves me a lot of time later.  If I have pieces that need interfacing, I attach them at this time as well.

Attach the front zippers.

Assemble the bag.

Attach the strap.

Attach the zipper panel.
