After visiting my local quilt shop, I decided to try their Block of the Month club. I am excited to take on this year long project with hopes of having a nice size quilt at the end. Each month they will show us a new piece of this quilt puzzle. It’s kind of fun not knowing what the final quilt will look like. I look forward to this new challenge.
The fabric for my first block of the month. This 12 month quilt project is titled “Gray & Teal”.
I have cut up all the pieces needed to make my 12×12 block.
My pieces are pinned and ready for their 1/4″ seam allowance.
I am attaching and sewing on the top squares for the middle section of my block.
I have two sides finished, with 2 more to go.
All my pieces together waiting to be attached.
My finished block. I am very happy with the end result. The instructions given were very clear and made this a fun project. I can’t wait to see what square will be offered next month.
