Emerson is definitely my baker in the family. She will try just about anything when it comes to cooking sweets and goodies. She will see a recipe somewhere and just have to make it.
The apple dumplings recipe showed up on Facebook a few days ago and she couldn’t wait to get started. The recipe consisted of:
2 granny smith apples, a package of Pillsbury crescent rolls, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp ground cinnamon and 6oz. of lemon/lime soda (we used sprite). Bake at 350 degrees for about 35-40 minutes. I am sure they would be served great with vanilla ice cream.
She found the Minecraft Creeper Cookie recipe on YouTube. It was made and posted by Eugenie Kitchen. She has a whole variety of cookies and cakes on her site. I think the Instagram cookies and the ones with the heart in the middle would be a nice choice to make next time.
