The 2nd trip to Fort Wayne Zoo allowed us to see many of the things we missed the first time. There is so much to see at this zoo, so it was definitely worth another visit. This zoo not only has a large selection of animals, but it is very hands on.
When you look at the Fort Wayne Zoo website it doesn’t seem like the zoo is very big. They also offer: train rides, an endangered species carousel, a sky safari ride, pony rides and river rides. They have animal feedings throughout the day so you can feed the goats, ducks, birds and giraffes.
Right around the corner from the zoo is the Jefferson Point Shopping Center. It is a great place to shop and grab dinner before heading back home.
