I finished up Madison’s penguin this morning. She named him “Kowalski”. I tried making a hat for him but it ended up being too small. So I decided to make him a winter type headband instead. Kowalski was a little challenging to make at times. I was confused on the pattern on how to make the feet. I ended up having my daughter help me with the feet.
I still am working on the stuffing. In some places he just doesn’t look stuffed quite right. This little guy turned out better than Mr. Porker’s stitch wise. I can definitely see the improvement in my work.
If you are interested it making this penguin, you can find the pattern HERE at Red Heart. I used both Stylecraft and Lion Brand Vanna yarn to make this project.
