I found the pattern for these cute hats at a site called “Repeat Crafter Me“.  This site is run by Sarah who designs all the patterns herself.  Her patterns are awesome and have always been accurate.  She designs so many different types of crochet items.  Repeat Crafter Me is the first site I go to when I want to crochet a hat.

 I made these hats for the kids for Halloween.  Of course they ended up wearing something else for Halloween so my husband and I sported the “Thing 1” and “Thing 2” hats all night.  It was a freezing night and these hats kept us nice and warm.  I love hats when they are large enough to cover both of your ears.

If you would like to make one of these hats, you can find the pattern HERE.  I used the same yarn that Sarah suggested on her blog.  I used Red Heart yarn in the blue, and Vanna yarn for the red.  (Any worsted weight yarn will do).
