Today was a crazy, long adventure with the kids to Chicago.  We left around Midnight and got back at Midnight the next day. We took the Megabus from home to Chicago, and from there the train to the Brookfield Zoo.    The zoo was a short walk away from the train stop.

A worker was nice enough to take our photo upon entering the zoo.  I usually take my tripod with me for family photos, but since this was a long day trip with no car I left it at home.  So for those of you that help people out by taking photos for them, THANK YOU!  Believe me, the families really do appreciate it!

Ready to catch the train and the bus and head back home.  Today was a fun but exhausting day.  We still didn’t get to see the whole zoo.  I am hoping we can make it out here again this summer for at least one more visit.
